looking for a Salesforce CPQ Administrator - Business System Analyst to join the
athenahealth athenaIT team in India (Fully remote) based role. This role focuses
on configuring, administering, and enhancing Salesforce CPQ solutions that
support key business and operational initiatives across the organization. The
ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product
managers, project teams, and developers to translate business requirements into
scalable Salesforce CPQ solutions. This position requires strong expertise in
Salesforce CPQ administration, business analysis, stakeholder management, and
continuous process improvement. About the Team: The athenaIT team at
athenahealth supports enterprise business processes and technologies that enable
operational efficiency and business growth. The team partners closely with
business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering organizations to implement
scalable technology solutions, improve system capabilities, and drive continuous
innovation. Team members focus on delivering reliable, secure, and
high-performing systems that improve user productivity and customer experience
across the organization. Essential Job Responsibilities: Configure, administer,
and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions including product bundles, pricing rules,
approval rules, validation rules, and document templates Collaborate with
stakeholders and product teams to gather, analyze, and document functional and
technical requirements Design and implement system enhancements aligned with
business objectives and operational improvements Work with technical teams to
develop scalable Salesforce and Force.com solutions while considering upstream
and downstream system impacts Develop test plans, execute unit and integration
testing, and ensure system quality and reliability Troubleshoot and resolve
production issues while coordinating escalations when necessary Serve as a
liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment on
project goals and solution delivery Additional Job Responsibilities: Create and
maintain detailed documentation including functional specifications, user
manuals, and JIRA stories Develop and deliver training materials and end-user
enablement sessions for Salesforce users Recommend best practices and process
improvements to optimize Salesforce CPQ workflows and operational efficiency
Participate in agile and waterfall project delivery activities and
cross-functional collaboration initiatives Support ongoing system administration
activities including user management, configuration, and maintenance Stay
updated on Salesforce CPQ trends, releases, and industry best practices
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on scalability, stability,
and security of enterprise systems Expected Education & Experience: Salesforce
Administrator certification required; Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification
preferred Minimum 2 years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience 2–4 years of
experience in business systems analysis, business analysis, or related roles
Strong proficiency in Salesforce CPQ administration, configuration, user
management, and maintenance Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence,
SOQL, and test plan execution processes Experience with Conga and Force.com
applications preferred Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management,
and problem-solving skills with experience working in agile and waterfall
