skilled Salesforce experienced DevOps Engineer to join our QTC Development Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support our Salesforce
platform and other applications. You will work closely with development and
operations teams to ensure seamless code integration, deployment, and system
scalability. What You'll Do: Release Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute
Salesforce releases, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Deployment
Automation: Develop and maintain deployment scripts and tools to automate the
release process. Version Control: Manage and maintain version control systems,
ensuring proper branching and merging strategies. Environment Management:
Oversee the setup and configuration of Salesforce environments (Development, QA,
Staging, Production) to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to
gather requirements and address release-related issues. Quality Assurance:
Thoroughly test and validate release packages to ensure functionality,
performance, and security compliance. Documentation: Create and maintain
comprehensive documentation for release processes, procedures, and best
practices. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process
improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability in
release management. Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security,
regulatory, and operational processes throughout the development and deployment
lifecycle. Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and
Docker. Oversee the deployment, scaling, and management of applications on
Kubernetes. Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve deployment processes.
Ensure excellent test class coverage for deployments. Hands-on experience in
initiating sandbox refreshes and performing post-refresh activities Required
Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, release
management, or DevOps. Salesforce Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the
Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Salesforce
release cycles. Tools Proficiency: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins,
Git) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Problem-Solving Skills: Strong
analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure
and meet tight deadlines. Communication: Excellent verbal and written
communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders. Certifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g.,
Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce PD1) are
a plus. Hands-on experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience using Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Shell scripts for creation of new
Jenkins Job or maintaining existing one. Hands-on experience with Salesforce
development environments and deployment processes and troubleshooting.
Experience: Salesforce Development and Deployment (Required) CI/CD Set up and
Automation. Jenkins Scripting (Groovy) - (Required) Kubernetes: 1 year
