Role Overview
The SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional Consultant – AMS is responsible for providing application support, incident resolution, and functional enhancements for warehouse management processes running on SAP EWM within SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP environments.
The consultant will work closely with business users, IT teams, and technical consultants to ensure smooth warehouse operations and continuous system improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 support for SAP EWM issues in production and non-production environments.
Monitor and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets raised through ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to:
Inbound and outbound processing
Warehouse task and warehouse order management
Picking, packing, and shipping
Inventory management and stock discrepancies
Physical inventory
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
Configure and maintain EWM settings such as:
Warehouse structure
Storage types and bins
Putaway and picking strategies
Handling units and packaging specifications
Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
