Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with over 12 years of experience in managing SAP implementations and delivering end-to-end project lifecycle solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise across SAP functional modules and have a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale implementation projects. PMP certification is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects across multiple functional modules.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
Drive end-to-end project execution including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and best practices.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.
Ensure successful deployment, user training, and post-go-live support.
Maintain strong stakeholder communication and manage expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
12+ years of overall IT experience with significant exposure to SAP projects.
Proven experience in managing SAP implementation projects (mandatory) across India projects
Strong understanding of SAP functional modules such as:
SAP FICO
SAP MM
SAP SD
SAP PP / WM / HCM (any additional modules are a plus)
Experience in project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a strong plus.
Experience with S/4HANA implementations is highly desirable.
Exposure to global delivery models and distributed teams.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
