More about the role Job Summary Designs, supports, and optimizes SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions to meet business and operational requirements in a post go-live Application Maintenance Support (AMS) environment. Collaborates with business stakeholders, AMS partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure stable, compliant, and efficient finance processes. Drives issue resolution, system stability, and continuous improvement to enhance overall business performance and user experience. Key Areas of Responsibility Defines functional specifications and translates business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including design, configuration, and customization across Finance and Controlling processes (GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, IO, COPA / Margin Analysis, Product Costing & Project Systems (PS)) • Provides end-to-end functional support in an AMS environment, including incident resolution, service requests, defect fixes, root cause analysis, and change implementation, ensuring adherence to service levels and business expectations. • Conducts impact analysis, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate changes and ensure alignment with business and operational requirements. • Monitors system performance, production issues, and user feedback, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability, efficiency, and user experience. • Supports critical finance cycles including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring continuity and timely resolution of issues. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, Basis, Security, Integration) and external partners to ensure seamless end-to-end process execution and effective service delivery. • Maintains comprehensive documentation including configurations, functional designs, process flows, and support knowledge to ensure governance, audit readiness, and knowledge continuity. • Provides functional guidance, user training, and knowledge sharing across teams, contributing to capability building and consistent delivery quality. • Analyses and resolves complex functional issues within the governance and service management framework, and acts as a trusted advisor to Product Owners, Service Owners, and Finance stakeholders. Critical Experiences Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance Systems, or a related field. • Upto 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance (ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA). • Strong experience in post go-live support within an Application Maintenance Support (AMS) or production support environment. • Proven hands-on experience in SAP Finance configuration and customization is mandatory. • Hands-on experience in Project Systems (PS) and its integration with Finance and Controlling processes is mandatory. • Experience in translating business requirements into functional specifications, system enhancements, and supportable business solutions. • Exposure to Agile methodologies and structured service delivery models is good-to-have. • SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP FICO certification is good-to-have.
