Roles & Responsibilities :

Handling AML Transaction Monitoring alerts and conducting thorough investigations for merchants / customers.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of AML alerts.
Identifying and reporting suspicious activities in accordance with AML regulations and best practices in consultation with Head AML.
Providing expertise and guidance on AML Transaction Monitoring alerts to internal stakeholders
Anti Money Laundering:
Build new scenarios / rules, creating BRDs and evaluating exception reports and Alert closures.
Evaluating the performance of system (AML Monitoring tool & Negative List Screening).
Guide transaction monitoring teams & closure of critical areas i.e suspicions transactions / name match as per the screening output.
Review of policies and procedures in AML program (KYC/ CDD/ EDD).
Ensure that information obtained is consistent with AML Policy and Procedures and satisfies regulatory requirements. Follow up and track all documents required to satisfy merchants onboarded.
Conducting process audits/ reviews for all the internal & regulatory processes.
Escalate high risk issues identified to Management.
Support an annual review of the efficiency and effectiveness of the AML monitoring system & process.
Identify and inform of any changes to legislation and other regulatory requirements relating to AML.
Develop and execute face-to-face training for internal teams business units as required.
Handle other duties as assigned to assist with the effective administration of the AML and
KYC Policies.
Reporting Suspicious Transactions to Regulators (such as FIU) and other stakeholders (e.g. Partner Banks) as required
