Business Systems Analyst 3 Job Summary Responsible for business requirements gathering, business and technical analysis, and system configuration. Duties will include creation and review of new/existing business and technical documentation, configuration of business requirements, work on project teams, assist in the day-to-day troubleshooting of business and technical issues, and QA/UAT support to ensure that project goal, timeline, and budget objectives are achieved. Defines the system and functional requirements. Creates development specifications as well as unit and integration test cases. Assists with testing to analyze results. Accountabilities and Essential Job Functions Prepares clear and concise client documentation including business requirements. Provides configuration application to support business requirements and design, assists in developing configuration and implementation plans, creation and maintenance of configuration documentation, operational procedures and guidelines, and identifying and documenting solution problems and recommended resolution, unit testing configuration, implements and manages configuration, reads, writes and interprets detailed functional requirements and technical specifications. Collaborates with team members to create detailed functional and/or technical specifications. Uses development specifications to create unit and integrated test cases. Tests enhancements, changes, and/or new functionality to assure the product functions properly and meets the defined business requirements. Meeting utilization targets, Administrative tasks including timesheets and expenses in accordance with D+H policies. Customer satisfaction through promptness in responding to calls, emails for assistance, queries. Establish effective working relationships within the project team, with Technical Services and with clients. Facilitate requirements workshops/discussions with clients. Timely and effectively communication within project to manage risk and escalations. Other duties and projects as assigned. Financial industry experience preferred. Strong Analytical and Quantitative Abilities. Knowledge of Commercial Banking, Lending Process, Financial Services industry. Technical, analytical, and development skills including the ability to provide solutions to a variety of business problems of moderate scope and complexity. Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills, including technical specifications. A high degree of integrity and accountability along with strong collaboration skills. Strong knowledge of the full suite of MS Office products (including Visio, Word, Outlook). Experience with Software Development Lifecycles and implementation of configurable software, including HTML and JavaScript. Professionalism when dealing with Clients. Experience with writing SQL queries and JavaScript. Experience in a Professional Services client-facing role. Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements. Education/ Certifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. CBAP Certification preferred. Additional Requirements Ability to receive, express, or exchange detailed information through oral and written communication. Ability to see and operate a computer. Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs. of weight (laptop, projector, suitcase, etc.). Work is performed in a general or home office environment.
