Senior Android Developer – Skills & Experience
Over 7 years of hands-on experience in native Android application development.
Strong expertise in the Android SDK, Android platform architecture, and handling multiple Android versions and screen sizes.
Proficient in integrating RESTful APIs and connecting Android applications with backend services.
Deep understanding of Android UI/UX design principles, Material Design guidelines, architectural patterns, and mobile best practices.
Experience with offline storage mechanisms, multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
Skilled in designing applications around intuitive and natural user interfaces.
Familiarity with Android device sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, GPS, and related APIs.
Good knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and commonly used libraries/frameworks.
Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.
Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and engineering best practices.
Experience implementing automated quality checks and productivity measurements using tools such as SonarQube and FindBugs.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools including RTC, Jenkins, and RLM.
Strong exposure to unit testing, code performance tuning, static code analysis, and automated build/deployment processes.
