Job Purpose:
Execute application remediation and upgrade initiatives by modernizing legacy .NET applications while ensuring functional stability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Refactor legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Replace deprecated APIs and libraries with modern alternatives
• Collaborate with architects to resolve dependency and integration challenges
• Develop unit tests and regression test suites for upgrade validation
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to upgrade standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance during modernization initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
• 6–8 years of .NET development experience
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework
• Experience with legacy .NET runtime versions (4.3/4.5/4.8) and migration approaches
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in application modernization and migration projects
• Understanding of modern development practices and code optimization techniques
