Senior Dry Utility Engineer

To lead the planning, design, and coordination of dry utilities infrastructure for complex urban and infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and integrated utility solutions aligned with multidisciplinary master planning and engineering designs.

Your next role

Lead the design and coordination of Dry Utilities including power, ICT, telecom, gas, street lighting, and ELV systems.
Develop dry utility strategies for masterplans, townships, and large-scale developments.
Coordinate the design of dry utilities with wet utilities, roads, transport, structures, and buildings.
Liaise with utility authorities and service providers for identifying the location, approvals, NOCs, and design compliance.
Prepare and review drawings, layouts, technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
Support multidisciplinary project delivery and integrated infrastructure solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability development.
Ensure designs comply with local and international standards and sustainability principles.

Your Skills And Experience

8–12 years of experience in Dry Utilities Engineering design and coordination
Strong knowledge of power distribution, telecom, ICT, gas, and street lighting systems
Experience in master planning and design of large infrastructure projects
Preliminary/ detailed design of infrastructure projects in 3D/ BIM environment
Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, MS Excel, and coordination workflows
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Good to Have

Experience on Middle East / UK projects
Exposure to BIM-based utility coordination
Knowledge of sustainability and smart infrastructure systems
Knowledge of sustainable and resilient infrastructure frameworks

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil / electrical engineering.
Master’s degree in Infrastructure / Utility Engineering (preferred)
Membership of a relevant professional institution (preferred)
