Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SPLUNK-Admin L2 Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SPLUNK administration and will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing SPLUNK environments to ensure high availability and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain SPLUNK environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Configure and manage SPLUNK data inputs, indexes, and search head clusters.
Implement and manage SPLUNK apps and add-ons to enhance functionality.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to SPLUNK infrastructure.
Develop and maintain SPLUNK dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with security and IT teams to integrate SPLUNK with other monitoring and security tools.
Provide L2 support for SPLUNK-related incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for SPLUNK administration.
Stay updated with the latest SPLUNK features and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Mandatory Skills

Proven experience as a SPLUNK Administrator with a strong understanding of SPLUNK architecture and components.
Hands-on experience in configuring and managing SPLUNK environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
Experience with SPLUNK search language (SPL) and creating custom queries.
Familiarity with data ingestion methods and managing data sources in SPLUNK.
Knowledge of security best practices related to SPLUNK administration.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud-based SPLUNK deployments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
Experience in integrating SPLUNK with other security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS).
Certifications related to SPLUNK administration or data analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in SPLUNK administration or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
