About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior HubSpot Solutions Architect to join our team on a 12-month contract engagement. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the technical backbone of our HubSpot ecosystem - designing scalable CRM architectures, driving complex integrations across our tech stack, and acting as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and client partners. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Service teams to design and implement solutions that power revenue growth, streamline operations, and elevate the overall HubSpot maturity of the organisations we serve. This is a high-impact, client-facing role that demands deep technical expertise combined with strong consultative and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
HubSpot Architecture & Solution Design
Lead end-to-end HubSpot solution design, including CRM object modelling, custom property architecture, and multi-hub configuration across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and Operations Hub.
Design robust pipeline structures and lifecycle stage frameworks aligned to client business processes and revenue models.
Establish and enforce governance frameworks covering portal hygiene, naming conventions, permission structures, and change management protocols.
Conduct architecture reviews and produce detailed solution design documentation for complex, enterprise-grade HubSpot deployments.
Integrations & iPaaS
Architect and build integrations between HubSpot and third-party platforms using native connectors, REST APIs, and webhooks.
Design and manage middleware solutions leveraging iPaaS platforms including Make (Integromat), Boomi, Zapier, and MuleSoft to orchestrate data flows across the broader tech stack.
Define integration patterns, data contracts, error-handling strategies, and monitoring frameworks to ensure reliability and scalability.
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to deliver end-to-end integration builds that meet performance, security, and business requirements.
CRM & Data Platform Expertise
Design and execute bi-directional Salesforce-HubSpot synchronisation, including field mapping, conflict resolution logic, and data ownership rules.
Leverage HubSpot Data Hub (formerly Operations Hub Data Sync) to unify data across platforms and maintain a single source of truth.
Lead data migration planning and execution - encompassing extraction, transformation, deduplication, and validation - from legacy CRM systems into HubSpot.
Develop and implement data quality frameworks, deduplication strategies, and enrichment workflows to maintain CRM data integrity at scale.
Automation & RevOps
Build advanced HubSpot workflows incorporating complex branching logic, custom-coded actions (JavaScript/Node.js), and cross-object automation.
Design and implement end-to-end lead lifecycle automation - covering lead capture, scoring, routing, nurturing, handoff, and closed-loop reporting.
Partner with Revenue Operations leaders to map and automate processes across Marketing, Sales, and Service functions, reducing manual effort and improving conversion rates.
Identify automation opportunities that drive measurable business outcomes, including pipeline velocity, deal closure rates, and customer retention metrics.
Client Advisory & Pre-Sales
Lead discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with senior client stakeholders to define scope, success criteria, and technical approach.
Produce comprehensive solution scoping documents, effort estimates, and implementation roadmaps for new and existing client engagements.
Deliver compelling technical presentations and solution demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences.
Proactively identify and articulate expansion opportunities within client portals, contributing to account growth and long-term partnerships.
Quality, Documentation & Team Enablement
Conduct thorough HubSpot portal audits - evaluating configuration quality, workflow efficiency, data health, and adherence to best practices - and deliver actionable remediation plans.
Establish and maintain technical governance standards, including solution blueprints, integration maps, and operational runbooks.
Author clear, structured solution documentation and handover materials that empower client teams to operate and extend HubSpot independently.
Mentor and coach junior architects and HubSpot administrators on architecture best practices, solution design principles, and technical problem-solving approaches.
Required Skills & Qualifications
HubSpot Platform Expertise
7+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience with deep proficiency across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and Operations Hub.
Proven track record of architecting multi-hub, enterprise-grade HubSpot environments.
HubSpot certifications highly desirable (Solutions Architect, Marketing Software, Sales Software, CMS Hub, etc.)
Strong command of CRM object modelling, custom objects, associations, and property management.
Integrations & Middleware
Hands-on experience building integrations via HubSpot APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth) and native connectors.
Practical expertise with iPaaS tools: Make (Integromat), Boomi, Zapier, and MuleSoft.
Solid understanding of API design principles, authentication frameworks, and data mapping patterns.
Experience designing integration architectures with error handling, retry logic, and monitoring.
CRM & Data Management
Demonstrable experience with Salesforce-HubSpot bi-directional data sync and complex field mapping.
Proficiency with HubSpot Data Hub and data synchronisation tools.
Expertise in CRM data migration - planning, ETL processes, validation, and cutover strategies.
Strong grasp of data deduplication techniques, enrichment workflows, and data governance principles.
Automation & Technical Skills
Advanced HubSpot workflow builder - complex multi-branch logic, delays, goal-based triggers.
Proficiency in custom-coded actions (JavaScript/Node.js within HubSpot workflows).
Understanding of revenue operations frameworks and funnel stage management.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS for HubSpot email and landing page customisation is a plus.
Soft Skills & Professional Competencies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - comfortable presenting at C-suite level.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a consultative, client-first mindset.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently with minimal supervision.
