We are seeking an experienced Senior Jira Administrator professional to design,
build, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions across the Atlassian platform.
You will play a critical role in translating business needs into technical
solutions that drive efficiency, collaboration, and innovation across the
organization.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
SYSTEM DESIGN AND CONFIGURATION
* Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across Atlassian products to
support enterprise workflows
* Translate business and user requirements into effective system
configurations, automations, and dashboards
* Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture documentation,
blueprints, and standards
* Ensure platform stability, performance, and alignment with organizational
goalsIntegration and Automation
* Integrate Atlassian tools with enterprise platforms including M365, CI/CD
pipelines, and other business systems
* Build and maintain automation solutions using native Atlassian tools, APIs,
and scripting (Python, PowerShell, REST, etc.)
* Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes through
intelligent automation
* Support API development and maintenance for seamless cross-platform
connectivity
COLLABORATION AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
* Partner with product owners, project managers, and technical leads to gather
and refine system requirements
* Provide expert guidance on Atlassian capabilities, industry best practices,
and governance frameworks
* Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both
technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Act as a trusted advisor on platform strategy and continuous improvement
initiatives
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proven experience administering and configuring Atlassian products (Jira
Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence)
* Strong understanding of workflows, custom fields, permission schemes, and
automation rules
* Demonstrated experience integrating Atlassian with external tools and
platforms using APIs and scripts
* Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including identity management,
change control, and governance
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to think systematically and balance technical precision with user
experience
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
* Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Groovy)
* Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM frameworks, or Agile methodologies
* Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-200, or equivalent)
* Experience with version control, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices
* Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and data protection
requirements
