Senior Manager - Security - Ports & Terminals - Nhava Sheva

* Responsible for the security of Terminal- people, equipment & premises
including boundary/ territorial Security. 

* Responsible for the implementation of the ISPS regulations on a day today
basis.

* Responsible for the Security checks as per the ISPS standards within &
outside the port/Container Terminal.

* Responsible for the training of the Security Officers /Inspectors/
Supervisors and Guards.

* Responsible for   reporting of any incidents of security of people or
materials or equipment’s, law and order or problems faced by the security
personnel in execution of the same.

* Responsible for discussing the above issues with CEO /GM-HC, IR & Admin and
/or other peer HODs and identify solutions. 

* Responsible for all security related audits, inspection, etc. 

* Plan and execute any improvement in the security system as and when
required. 

*  Responsible for regular security patrol, Go on rounds in and around the
terminal to ensure the deployment / assignment is carried out by the team and
security agency personnel.

* All Documents such as Terminal Security Procedures, Site plans, etc shall be
prepared, maintained in strict confidentiality.

* Responsible for traffic routing at access roads to the terminal and traffic
within terminal is maintained with proper layout and has to ensure one
emergency lane at all places.

* Ensuring Ship side, Sea side and land side patrolling / monitoring done and
any suspicious person movement, objects, equipments shall be reported to
concerned and ensure proper counter measures arranged to mitigate the threats
and problems.

* Responsible for documents verification before letting in or out of any
material or personnel into / from the terminal premises and maintain
registers.

* Responsible for gathering intelligence inputs as and when required by the
Management.

* Responsible to conduct security drills on regular weekly/monthly /quarterly &
annual basis.

* To ensure that all Contracted Security personnel undergo terminal safety and
environment induction before put into work.

* Responsible for continuous monitoring in CCTV and initiate appropriate
action.

* Support the implementation of ISO - 28000 system & any other appropriate
quality systems as and when required by the Management.

* Ensure that the safety norms of the company are followed and contribute in
improving the standards.

* Ensure optimum deployment of security guards at various vantage points to
prevent theft, pilferage and trespassing.

* Deal effectively in case of any IR issues like strike, bandh, gate meeting
etc by staff, local villagers and contractors.

* Ensure full co-operation with Security & CLMS team in ensuring 100% safety /
Security inside terminal through Security Supervisors and Contracted Security
persons.

* Organise Terminal tours for visitors/clients.
