Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist
(Global) to manage multi-regional payroll operations across Canada, Italy,
China, Mexico, and additional global locations. This role involves close
coordination with Employer of Record (EOR) partner Deel. International payroll
experience is required; expertise in Italian, Chinese, or Mexican payroll is a
plus but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities: Process end to end payroll for
multiple countries (e.g., Canada, Italy), ensuring timely and accurate
execution. Assist with end to end payroll setup in Mexico. Oversee payroll
operations and manage invoices through EOR partner, Deel, across regions
including APAC, LATAM, and EMEA. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations
and manage employer payroll account registrations as needed. Collaborate with
payroll vendors to resolve tax notices, support audits, and facilitate system
transitions or process updates. Coordinate with Treasury to ensure timely
payroll funding and related tax payments. Prepare and submit payroll reports for
accounting and equity Maintain accurate and synchronized employee data across
Workday, Immedis/UKG, Velocity, Deel, and Fidelity. Support year-end payroll
processing, documentation, and reporting. Respond promptly to payroll-related
employee inquiries. Partner with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to ensure data
integrity Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
field; Payroll certification (CPP) is a plus. In-house end to end payroll
management would be an advantage Ideally 3-5 years’ experience managing payroll
across multiple regions or countries Strong knowledge of international payroll
compliance Proficient in Deel, or similar payroll systems; experience with
Immedis/UKG and Workday is advantageous. Advanced Excel skills Proven track
record managing sensitive information and exceptional attention to detail
