Role Summary Drive quality excellence by leading end-to-end audits, root cause analysis, and systemic improvements across RCM workflows. As a Senior Associate, you will influence teams, strengthen governance, and deliver measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes. Team Summary The Quality team partners with Operations, Product, and Client Services to ensure scalable, high-quality execution, reduce defects, and enable continuous improvement across revenue cycle workflows. Essential Responsibilities Lead end-to-end quality audits and deep-dive analyses across workflows Identify systemic quality issues and perform advanced root cause analysis (user, process, system) Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with measurable impact Define and track quality KPIs (accuracy, defect rate, rework, FPY) Influence Operations and BPO teams to improve performance and accountability Drive audit-to-action closure and sustained quality improvements Lead calibration sessions and quality governance forums Enable process standardization and workflow improvements Leverage data, reporting, and AI tools to generate actionable insights Ensure strong audit governance, documentation, and compliance Additional Responsibilities Mentor and coach team members on quality standards and best practices Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment Support strategic quality initiatives and transformation efforts Qualifications & Experience 8–11 years of experience in RCM Quality / Process Excellence Strong expertise in denial management, RCA, and quality frameworks Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive measurable outcomes Experience working with BPO/vendor environments preferred About athenahealth Our vision: In an industry that becomes more complex by the day, we stand for simplicity.
