Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role
Develop, sustain and evangelize devOps methodology withing the organization for software and firmware development
Take complete ownership of product delivery infrastructure development and operations
Design optimized, reusable and scalable application deployment solution for microservices/traditional applications
Automate Infrastructure provisioning and development processes
Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Understanding the needs of stakeholders and use them to define platform backlog
Writing automation code. Also, Reviewing, Testing and examining code written by others
Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

10+ years of experience in DevOps and related technologies
Container orchestration platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift etc)
CI platform, e.g., Jenkins
Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience with Log Aggregation tools like ELK, etc.
Understanding of at least one scripting language Python/bash/Perl
Proficiency with modern development tools, like Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence etc.
OpenShift pipelines
Exposure to microservices tools landscape, e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, Tracing, service mesh etc.
Experience with GitOps is a big plus
