Job Description/Responsibilities Member of the Payments Application Operations Team. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Create, upgrade and maintain Production/UAT environments for payments products GPP and P2G. Ensure uptime of applications as per agreed SLA Trouble shoot and fix Production/UAT issues reported by the Client and/or Implementation team within acceptable timelines. Participate in Disaster recovery exercise as per the schedule. Ability to debug system logs and produce technical solutions associated with data flow or processes involved or performance aspects. Work closely with the Implementation team to understand the process flow, solution challenges if any and work towards implementing & supporting a seamless integration between Finastra & Customer applications. Work closely with the Implementation & product teams to explore & reuse tools/processes for effective delivery of customer requirements. Should focus towards acquiring adequate understanding of the technical & functional aspects/flows of the implemented products within short span of time. Be able to effectively participate in project discussions, provide project updates and identify risks with mitigation plans. Be flexible to learn, collaborate & contribute across teams. The Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience Must Have: Overall experience of 6-8 years. Exposure to Payments domain and Finastra payments products i.e., GPP or P2G is an added advantage. Willingness to work on rotation in Morning (8 am to 5 pm IST) and afternoon (2pm to 11pm IST) shifts and provide On-call support on rotation including weekends. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a DevOps, Application Operations/Support, or similar role. Experienced in application deployment and configuration across multiple platforms such as Linux, Windows on Azure/AWS Minimum 4 years’ experience with Kubernetes, Red hat OpenShift platform, Azure Kubernetes services Minimum 3 years’ experience of working on LINUX platform and proficient in scripting languages such as Linux shell script & Ansible. Exposure to Oracle database or any relational database and ability to write SQL. Familiarity with general monitoring principles, as well as tools such as Site 24 X 7, Grafana, etc. Experience in different automation concepts (ex. CI/CD, infra as code) and DevOps tools (ex. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Chef, etc). Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Good to Have: Hands on experience in configuring Web Servers like JBOSS, WebLogic, IBM WebSphere etc. Hands on experience in Integration using JMS/MQ, Web Services, Rest API Experience in cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS. Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Knowledge of Java and supporting Java applications.
