experiences that help clinicians complete critical work with clarity,
efficiency, and confidence. In this role, you will shape simple and effective
interactions across mobile and web workflows, using design and design thinking
to improve both user experience and business outcomes. This position is based in
Pune, India and is a hybrid role. You will report to the UX Zone Lead for the
Mobile Zone, Senior Manager, Experience Design. About the Team Our UX team in
the Mobile Zone leads user experience design for several clinician-facing iOS
and Android mobile applications that enable clinicians to access the Electronic
Health Record (EHR) on their phone, along with related web-based workflows that
create a cohesive cross-platform experience. We design across a broad set of
workflows: including colleague messaging, inbox action items, and exam
documentation, with an emphasis on reducing friction and supporting efficient
task completion. Our work spans research, interaction design, information
architecture, prototyping, and design partnership with product, engineering,
content, and clinical stakeholders. We aim to create experiences that are
practical, intuitive, and aligned to user needs, while thoughtfully using AI and
voice technologies where they improve workflows and add value. Essential Job
Responsibilities · Define strong problem statements, success metrics, and design
hypotheses to evaluate whether solutions are delivering intended outcomes. ·
Apply systems thinking to evaluate problems from multiple perspectives and
anticipate downstream impacts. · Conduct user research in a variety of forms
that will help answer open questions and de-risk our possible solutions ·
Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into clear
design directions and experience requirements. · Create prototypes, journey
flows, and supporting artifacts of varying levels of fidelity that communicate
design intent clearly · Design simple, effective, and elegant interactions
across mobile app and web experiences for clinician workflows. · Collaborate
with product, engineering, research, content, and clinical partners to shape and
refine solutions. · Present thoughtful rationale for design recommendations and
adapt proposals based on feedback and evidence. · Participate in design reviews,
usability validation, and iteration cycles to improve experience quality. ·
Adapt to ambiguity, shifting priorities, and changing requirements while keeping
work moving forward. · Use AI tools thoughtfully in design workflows to
accelerate exploration, synthesis, and iteration, while applying human judgment
to evaluate outputs and determine what is appropriate for clinician-facing
experiences. Additional Job Responsibilities · Support design operations and
team practices that improve consistency and quality across projects. ·
Contribute to design systems by identifying reusable patterns and opportunities
for standardization. · Document design decisions, assumptions, and open
questions for cross-functional visibility. · Join planning discussions to help
shape priorities, scope, and sequencing. · Participate in knowledge-sharing or
informal guidance for other designers on the team. · Partner with analytics
teams to interpret findings and inform design decisions. · Align product content
and microcopy across workflows to support clarity and usability. · Explore
emerging interaction patterns and technologies that may improve clinician
workflows. · Coordinate with stakeholders across functions to maintain alignment
through design execution. Expected Education & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in
UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a
related field, or equivalent practical experience. · 3 to 8 years of experience
in UX, product design, interaction design, or a related discipline. · Experience
designing for digital products, with demonstrated work in mobile and/or web
applications. · Experience creating low-fidelity design artifacts, user flows,
prototypes, and interaction specifications. · Experience collaborating with
product management, engineering, and content partners in a cross-functional
environment. Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams preferred
but not required. · Experience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or
comparable tools. Experience using AI-forward tools such as Figma Make and
LLM-backed IDEs (Windsurf, Codex, Claude Code, etc.) preferred but not required.
· Experience applying user-centered design methods, including problem framing,
iterative design, and usability feedback. · Experience working with complex
workflows, information-heavy interfaces, or enterprise products. · Experience
leveraging metrics or qualitative evidence to guide and evaluate design
decisions. · Ability to communicate design rationale clearly in written and
