Job Description

ServiceNow developer provides configuration and customization including, but not limited to: Creating/updating Service Catalog Items, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, design integration, custom scripting. Responsibilities for this position include:

· Configure and extend out-of-the-box HRSD capabilities, including Case & Knowledge Management, Employee Center.

· Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS

· Configure/maintain custom workflows and approval processes.

· Configure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls

· Develops and maintains integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with Workday

· Administration of Service Catalog

· Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements

· Follow Biogen standard for developing, creating Update sets, testing, deploying to higher environment.

· Document deployment steps accurately in the Deployment Playbook.

· Interact directly with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine functional and technical requirements.

· Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solution designs aligned with platform best practices.

· Prepare and deliver showback/demo sessions to business and project stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final solutions.

Qualifications

· 5 years of experience designing and developing solution architecture for large platforms

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ServiceNow as a developer (HRSD Module preferred)

· Experience applying best practices in ServiceNow Coding and Processes.

· Detail-oriented, able to identify issues, and consistently collaborate to solve problems in a timely manner.

· Background and deep experience with ServiceNow are mandatory with accreditations covering the full range of ServiceNow products

· Internal customer management, the influence of peers, team effectiveness and enhancement, timeline management, proactive problem-solving ability, ability to develop trust, shared goals and values.

· Experience with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CICD) processes and Jira tool is a plus

· Knowledge of GxP process is a plus

Additional information

· Collaborative, with negotiation skills, conceptual thinking, systems process thinking, accountability to deliverables milestones, conflict resolution (internal and external).

· Ability to handle multiple (changing) priorities under tight timelines

· Technical/Software Skills: JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, AJAX, jQuery, MySQL, Cloud Technologies, XML, HTML, CSS, and web service integrations using REST, SOAP, etc.

· ServiceNow Developer certification required

· ServiceNow System Admin certification preferred

· Certified implementation specialist in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD or any other module preferred

· Own assigned enhancements and defects end-to-end, from requirement clarification through development and delivery.

· Design and execute unit test scenarios, document test results, and ensure quality before promotion to higher environments.

· Work closely with DevOps/release teams to support build, deployment, and change management processes.

· Contribute to technical design documentation, solution walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer activities.
