Engineer at Applied Materials, you’ll dive deep into ground-breaking

solve our customers’ high-value problems. Our Software Engineers are responsible
for designing, prototyping, developing, and debugging software solutions for
semiconductor equipment components and devices to ensure quality and
functionality. You'll develop software documentation and test procedures,
troubleshoot software problems, and communicate with internal customers to

sectors. Job Description Senior Software Engineer: C# and .NET Development
Location: Bangalore (Onsite) Roles and Responsibilities: As a Senior engineer,
your primary responsibility will be to learn and participate in the creation and
maintenance of Graphical User Interface and underlying framework for new and
existing products from requirement to launch as part of a cross functional team
involved in the development of equipment control and automation SW. You are
required to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, sustain and document software
changes for new requirements, enhancements and defects as directed by your Team
leads. Perform analysis, design and implementation of assigned projects using
sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices,
processes, and product / program requirements Engage with global teams to
effectively translate customer requirements to software requirements and
identify potential solutions that are optimized Troubleshoot variety of complex
software problems Provide timely status updates and proactive communications on
issues to the stakeholders. Have the ability and willingness to acquire in-depth
understanding of domain and existing products (beyond software) and apply that
knowledge to develop new products and to deliver enhancements/ fixes for
customer requirements. Educational Requirements: Bachelor /Master of Engineering
degree in Computer Science/Information
Science/Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation or Master of Computer
Applications Experience: 8+ years of experience in product software development
with strong background in User Interface development for standalone programs on
Server/desktop version of Windows Prior experience in GUI development for
Industrial automation products(Good to Have) - Skills Set: Strong C#, .NET
programming (WinForms, WPF, Collection, component Model and Threads) Object
oriented programming and design patterns Sound knowledge of Computer Science
fundamentals – data structures, algorithms, basic operating system concepts
Source control tools such as Git Methodical problem-solving skills and
troubleshooting skills Good to have skills set: Experience working with Agentic
Coding / AI Agents tools like– Claude Code/Github Co-pilot Additional
