Roles and Responsibilities,

Understanding the training requirement from customers across the globe and sourcing the best training supplier in the market
Manage good working relationship with the training suppliers
Obtaining quotes from different suppliers and creating standard bid summary by assessing the quotes
Negotiate on the proposals from training suppliers to provide customers with the most competitive pricing in the market
Develop and deliver cost savings through implementing optimum sourcing strategies
Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation
Coordinate multiple tasks and detailed activities in a time-intensive work environment
Correspond with customer and training partners for all training delivery related communications like dates and venue finalizing, registering the learner to training etc
Use a data driven approach to rationalize supplier base
Maintain data integrity among different systems internally
Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost saving for customers
Follow best practice processes, and suggest Lean opportunities

Educational Qualification

Any graduate

Experience

Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in commodity sourcing and management or purchasing and commercial management
Experience in working with suppliers in Learning industry will be considered a strong plus
Experience with sourcing in international markets and supplier quality assessment
Strong Negotiation skills
Demonstrated success in developing and fostering relationships with suppliers while driving lower costs, superior performance and continuous improvement
Experience of monitoring and managing work queues
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
Sound time-management and organizational skills
Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
