Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and meet required delivery date of project. Manage the Fulfilment process for a given set of goods. Focus on weekly/ Monthly catch on supplier schedule and monitor supplier process, activity. Advance anticipation of problems and solving it. Address all challenges in execution and coordination with all stakeholders to resolve. Keeping healthy relations with supplier. On-time delivery of correct materials & stakeholders are updated of the status of the supplier products in line with the purchase order [PO] requirements. Awareness of CFSI requirements and Nuclear Safety Culture Ensuring timely delivery of equipment with right quality as per Contractual arrangement and timely payment to supplier. Ensuring that progress reports are received from the suppliers in the correct form at the correct time. Suppliers are correctly notified in a timely manner when contractual obligations are not met and all claims are handled in a timely manner & within established PSIPL guidelines Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters. A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. For project team facing roles, develops strong Project team relationships and serves as the interface between project team and PSIPL. Explains technical information to others. Qualifications: College degree (preferably B.E/ BTech/Diploma of engineering) with good business acumen and holistic understanding of cross functional working in a business 5-7 years of experience in sourcing/procurement / Project Management / understanding of various manufacturing process. Basic commercial awareness. Basic knowledge on order management and scheduling Experience in Turbine & Generator manufacturing Industries/Knowhow about the Turbine & Generator Parts preferable Pro-active, Problem-solving attitude Networking and communication skills. Organizational skills including prioritization and resource deployment. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Global sourcing experience preferable Usage of SAP MM / Microsoft office & Procurement systems Preferably Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
