Job Description:
We are looking for an accomplished Pega Architect (LSA Certified) with proven expertise in architecting and developing enterprise-scale Pega applications. The role involves leading solution design, mentoring development teams, enforcing Pega best practices, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
Essential Technical Qualification:
Mandatory - Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) (both Part 1 & 2)
Overall 10+ years relevant Pega experience and at least 3-5 Pega projects implementation.
Pega experience across versions 8.6.6 to Pega Infinity 25.1 and above.
Proven experience in architecting and implementing end-to-end Pega solutions in large-scale enterprise environments. Strong understanding of Design concepts like Situational Layer Cake, Data Modelling and Case type modelling.
Hands-on experience in setting up Authentications using SAML/OAUTH protocols. Understanding of ABAC/ RBAC concepts.
Experience in solutions development on Pega using Case type rules, flows, data models, Activities, integrations and Pega mobility.
Hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, integration design and implementation and deployment within Pega environments, both using manual approach and using Pega Deployment Manager.
Strong understanding of Case management concepts, Flows, Data pages, Connectors & Services and their Synchronous and Asynchronous execution concepts.
Debugging Skills and experience using Tracer, Clipboard, PAL, Profiler, DB Trace. Special expertise required in debugging Constellation applications using developer tools.
Experience in handling bulk data processing using Data Flows. Excellent understanding of Data flows, data sets, their types and usage including Kafka queues.
Implementation experience / working knowledge on Customer Service (Constellation) framework. Setting up interactions, service cases, dialogs, channels, Knowledge articles and suggested cases and intents and next best offers.
Knowledge on Pega's Gen AI offerings like BluePrint, Agents, Gen AI Connect, Coach and Knowledge Buddy.
Experience working in a Constellation application. Understanding of Constellation architecture, differences with cosmos, prescribed UX advantages/disadvantages.
Experience in Data migration. Ability to setup design and implementation strategies for migrating data from legacy systems to Pega applications.
Demonstrates excellent customer interaction abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in working on Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Capable of applying customer standards by reusing existing frameworks or establishing and enforcing appropriate standards in solution development. Proficient in designing and promoting reusable components as enterprise assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the development team, providing technical guidance and support as required.
Responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and related Pega frameworks.
Drive the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable and maintainable solutions within the PRPC Rules environment.
Create technical designs, estimations, define enterprise class structures, integration standards and design and review infrastructure requirements such as data architecture definitions and data management plans.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Solution Architect to deliver end-to-end Pega applications and projects.
Understand the customer's enterprise technology landscape and position Pega effectively within the overall architecture.
Demonstrated expertise in code review, optimization, and Pega application performance analysis, including performance tuning. Responsible for analysing, identifying, and logging application enhancements and defects.
Ensure the application not only meets current business needs but is also designed to accommodate future scalability and feature enhancements.
Analyze and resolve complex design and configuration challenges to meet defined objectives.
Prepare High-Level Designs (HLDs), low-code platform solutions, and gather non-functional requirements (NFRs).
Review and approve solution designs, logic configurations, and technical artifacts to ensure alignment with Pega best practices.
Oversee and execute deployment activities across all environments, including Production.
Provide accurate time and resource estimates for project deliverables in line with established processes.
Offer thought leadership, technical inputs on dependencies, sequencing, and risks to assist the Project Manager in project planning and execution.
Support decisions with evidence-based research and influence stakeholders accordingly.
Preferred Qualification: (Optional/Good to have)
Experience in any of the Pega frameworks: Underwriting, CS, Smart Dispute, Smart Investigate, CLM/KYC etc.
Exposure to Pega Decisioning or Pega Marketing modules, with a solid grasp of their application within customer engagement and business process workflows.
