As a Sr BASE24 (Classic Development) Software Engineer in Bangalore/Pune, you
will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world’s payments
ecosystem!

Job Summary:

BASE24 (Classic) Designs, develops, and tests software systems or applications
for software enhancements and new products. Ensures new and existing ACI BASE24
customers receive a high-quality product delivery in accordance with customer
expectations and network specifications. Primarily responsible for the
development of network enhancements using TANDEM-BASE24 product, L3 support for
the Global BASE24 customers. Review network specifications/BRD and develops a
plan and proposal for delivery of the BASE24 network mandates.

Job Responsibilities:

* Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering high quality
software/solutions.
* Strong experience in Base24 Classic (must-have) 
* Pure developer profile preferred (not project-heavy/customer-facing) 
* The role is focused on internal product development (ACI platform) and not
customer-facing 
* Analyzes Network specifications / BRD and prepare and review HLD/LLD.
* Provide estimates for team based on Product supplied Business Requirements.
* Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is
compatible with devices and/or operating systems
* Validate/review of source code and schedules to ensure on timely and quality
deliverable.
* Active participation in mentoring junior staff while also growing abilities
and domain knowledge with active participation with senior staff.
* Strong understanding of Tandem based BASE24 Switch application.
* Knowledge of Issuer and Acquirer channels interface with BASE24 (like ATM,
POS and
* Interchange Interfaces like Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, etc.)
* Experience of testing BASE24 applications using ASSET simulators.
* Understanding of Mandates/Specifications from MasterCard/visa etc. for
BASE24.
* Independently designs, develops, tests, and delivers high quality
software/solutions. Provides direct estimates, such as time, percentage of
project completion, etc. to lead and/or manager.
* Research and resolves reported BASE24 problems efficiently and accurately
while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
* Coordinates the technical work of a small project team. Plans and schedules
tasks for projects and individuals.
* Maintains detail knowledge of software, underlying network and system
software, and dependencies.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to
the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
* Should be excellent in communication, a team player and flexible to work in
multi time-zone environments.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any equivalent
degree.
* 10+ years relevant experience.
* BASE24 domain knowledge
* XPNET
* ATM/POS
* ATM config files
* Interchange interface
* ISO8583
* EMV/Contactless
* Excellent knowledge on BASE24 Classic configuration and development skills.
* HP Non-stop Skills.
* TACL
* TAL
* Enscribe/DDL
* Tools like FUP, SCUP, INSPECT, Pathway, SCF
* Working experience on project Implementation in a bank or processor
environment using Base24 Knowledge of transaction.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:

* ATM/POS terminal driving
* Interchange Interface
* Transaction switching
* Payment processing

Work Environment:

* Work Model: Hybrid – minimum 2–3 days in office 
* Majority time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
