About the Role:
We are seeking a Sr Manager/ Manager – Impact (Accelerate & LiftOff) initiative, which supports startups & SMBs through hybrid and platform-led interventions.
This role is critical to ensuring that Accelerate & LiftOff’s outcomes, such as business growth, job creation and operational maturity, are measured in a way that balances rigor, scalability and practicality. The role will work closely with program leadership, platform, analytics teams and external agencies to ensure that the impact systems remain trusted, auditable, and decision relevant as the programs scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Impact Operations for Accelerate & LiftOff
Own the end-to-end MEL agenda for India’s Accelerate & LiftOff initiative
Operationalize outcome frameworks covering business growth, job creation and enterprise maturity
Partner closely with Accelerate & LiftOff program leadership to align impact measurement with strategic priorities
Ensure Impact data is timely, accurate and decision-useful for reviews and planning
Proactively identify risks in outcome reporting
2. Measurement Execution & System Management
Manage baseline, in-journey, end-line and outcomes tracking across cohorts, portfolios and delivery models
Design and implement low-friction data collection mechanisms suitable for founders and SMB operators
Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external research or validation partners
Ensure data pipelines are robust, consistent and audit-ready
3. Data Quality, Quality Assurance & Risk Governance
Establish and run Quality Assurance protocols on outcomes data
Identify and mitigate risks that may arise during program operations
Build early warning indicators for response drop-offs, quality degradation or system failures
4. Analytics, Insights and Decision Support
Partner with analytics teams to develop dashboards and insight views for leadership
Translate outcomes data into clear narratives and recommendations for product and program improvements
Support leadership reviews with executive ready analyses highlighting what is working, what is not and why not
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Represent Impact Operations in program reviews and leadership discussions
Work closely with internal stakeholders to align measurement with delivery realities and embed impact tracking into workflows
Liaise with external agencies on audits, surveys and/ or validations, as required
6. Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement
Map and refine impact operation workflows to improve timeliness, accuracy and scalability
Drive continuous improvements as Accelerate & LiftOff evolve towards platform-led and SDS models
Identify opportunities for automation & standardization without compromising outcome credibility

Requirements
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Master’s degree in business, Public Policy, Economics, Development, Statistics, or a related field preferred
6–10 years of progressive experience in impact measurement, operations, analytics, consulting or program management
Demonstrated experience designing and running scalable systems to measure the impact of advisory interventions on startups/ SMBs performance and revenue growth
Technical Skills
Exceptional operational and systems-thinking capability
Demonstrated skill and high-level of comfort in working with data, dashboard and analytical outputs
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; familiarity with SQL/Python/R a plus and qualitative data analysis tools such as NVivo, AtlasTI
Understanding of outcome measurements, attribution challenges, and evaluation concepts (depth can be built in the job)
