Sr. Software Specialist (Scrum Master with .Net Development experience)

JOB SUMMARY

Position: Sr. Software Specialist

Location: Kolkata

Full time permanent position

Total Experience: 10-12+ years.

.Net experience - 5+ years

Scrum Master experience: 2+ years

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include:

1. Fulfill Scrum Master responsibilities

2. Designing and developing custom business solutions from end-to-end based on
requirements and client needs

3. Developing, testing and deploying database-driven applications using a
variety of technologies. Primarily web and service based applications using a
variety of technologies such as ASP.Net [http://ASP.Net], MVC, HTML5.

4. Interfacing with the internal business team to define requirements; develop
code and unit test your solutions.

5. Leading/participating in design and code reviews

6. Each project will require various technical skills and therefore requires a
well-rounded, experienced, and adaptable individual.

7. Working independently and as a member of a Scrum team spread over different
time zones.

Requirements:

Essential:

· Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification or good experience in
Scrum Master responsibilities

· 2+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master

· 10+ years’ experience in software engineering role

· 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft .NET (4.0 or higher) using ASP.NET
[http://ASP.NET] and C#

· 5+ years’ experience in Web UI design using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JSON

· 3+ years’ programming experience using agile development methodologies

· Strong understanding of databases and fluent in SQL

· Experience with Microsoft MVC

· Experience with Object-Oriented Design Patterns

· Experience creating and consuming RESTful Web Services

· Strong background in building database-driven Web applications

· Ability to work independently and as a member of a geographically diverse team

Desirable:

· Experience in Angular (or similar)

· Experience in Telerik Kendo UI components

· Experience in tools like Git, BitBucket, Jira, Jenkins, Confluence

· Experience with Oracle and Oracle PL/SQL

· Experience with Telecom industry and billing/ordering/inventory systems

· Experience with Java/J2EE

Education:

BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related field,
Master’s Degree preferred.
