The role will be for Lead Site Contract Manager and shall be deputed at PSIPL
Sanand, Gujarat for Sanand Expansion Works project. This role will provide site
contract management scope of work to the project and construction teams on
working on Sanand Expansion (CAPEX) works according to project and sub
contractual requirements. Role : Fixed Team Contract Duration : 3 years
Essential Responsibilities Co-ordinate the administration of all site
subcontracts ensuring that PSIPL’s rights are enforced. Overseeing subcontractor
correspondence. Prepare notices, claims and counterclaims as well as change
orders in collaboration with project team and the negotiation and settlement of
such where required. Monitor NCR management, and enforce back-charges Support
team to adopt correct Purchasing process and tools are deployed and ensure
participation in negotiations with suppliers/contractors Supervise verification
of payment applications and the subsequent making of payments
(progress/milestone) are properly certified and documented. In particular,
participate in all final accounts with subcontractors. Share lessons learned and
feed insights into sourcing team to enhance future deliverables. Lead or support
contractual audits and claims preparation/negotiations related to site
contracts. Monitor all delays, related cost and damages and disputed issues at
Site, and advising mitigation plan to Project Manager Monitoring Contractual
Milestones and reviewing Project Schedule periodically with project
planners/schedulers Attending daily, Weekly, Monthly, Start–up, Site Management
& Progress review meetings to capture/ identify the delays, damages and disputed
issues Compiling backup documentation for delays, claims, back- charges and
rejections. In co-ordination with the Project Manager, manage insurance claims
in accordance with contractual obligations and insurance policies. Interface
with the loss adjusters. Maintain and update Risks and opportunities.
Qualifications / Requirements: Btech/BE in Engineering, Quantity Surveying,
Business Administration, or Law. Understanding of construction projects and
contract law 10 Years of experience in commercial site management and contract
management in the power or infrastructure industries, incl. signification
construction site exposure Experience of high-level negotiations with
subcontractors and business partners Desired Characteristics: Experience with
FIDIC contracts, including negotiation and administration of construction
subcontracts Skilled in preparing and managing EOT and cost claims, and
proactively handling contract and project issues for PSIPL Strong communicator
with advanced skills in spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools Fluent
in English; additional languages are a plus Confident in stakeholder engagement
and negotiation within multicultural environments Independent, proactive, and
solution-oriented with sound judgment Resilient and pragmatic with a strong
problem-solving mindset Able to work effectively within a matrixed organization
and influence across senior levels A collaborative team player with strong
