Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer with strong networking expertise, including cloud networking (Azure), to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routing, switching, security, and network monitoring tools, along with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze corporate network performance using tools such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Grafana, etc.
Configure and support Layer 2 switching technologies including VLAN, STP, VTP, RSTP, CDP, HSRP, and VRRP.
Detect, analyze, and troubleshoot network outages, recurring issues, and anomalies; classify incidents based on severity and drive them to resolution.
Manage and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, and IGRP.
Perform in-depth network troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
Implement and support VPN technologies including IPsec and SSL VPN.
Configure and manage firewalls such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, or FortiGate.
Conduct network traffic analysis using NetFlow, packet capture, and other monitoring tools for real-time visibility.
Design, implement, and manage Azure networking components including Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, NSGs, UDRs, Azure VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Azure Firewall.
Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises and Azure environments (site-to-site VPN, point-to-site VPN, VNet peering).
Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, provide solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain strong documentation and adhere to operational and security standards.
Manage multiple tasks and projects effectively within defined timelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, especially TCP/IP.
Hands-on experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.
Working experience with Azure networking services and cloud infrastructure.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CCNA and/or CCNP.
Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-700 or equivalent) are highly desirable.
Experience with enterprise network environments and security practices.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in networking and systems engineering, including exposure to cloud networking (Azure).
Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
