As a Recruiter at Lokal, you will own the complete hiring lifecycle — from sourcing and screening to stakeholder management and offer closures. The role requires strong execution capability, urgency, structured communication, and the ability to hire across both volume and niche mandates.

You will work closely with hiring managers across functions and play a critical role in scaling teams efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment for Lateral & Niche hiring mandates
Source candidates through job portals, referrals, LinkedIn, social media, and alternate channels
Screen and evaluate candidates based on role fit, communication, intent, and culture alignment
Coordinate interviews and drive fast turnaround times across hiring stages
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
Build strong candidate pipelines for ongoing and future hiring needs
Conduct market mapping and talent landscape analysis to identify relevant talent pools, competitor hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and sourcing strategies for critical roles
Ensure hiring mandates and timelines are consistently followed during MOM discussions, hiring sync-ups, and stakeholder reviews
Track progress against hiring goals, highlight bottlenecks proactively, and drive timely closures through regular coordination with hiring managers and interview panels
Maintain accountability across stakeholders by documenting action items, follow-ups, and hiring updates during recruitment sync meetings

Requirements

2 - 4 years of experience in recruitment/talent acquisition
Experience in handling lateral and Niche hiring across multiple roles
Strong sourcing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with aggressive hiring targets
Good communication and candidate engagement skills
Strong ownership mindset and execution focus
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, ATS tools, and hiring dashboards
Prior experience in startup hiring is a plus
