Job Title: Techno-Functional Transition Consultant – L&D Services (LMS consultant)
Mandatory: HCM + Learning domain certified by Workday
Engagement Type: Full time contract (6 months) Remote

Role Overview

NIIT is seeking a Techno-Functional Transition Consultant to support the transition and enablement of managed Learning & Development (L&D) services. This role will act as the technology coordination and functional lead during the transition phase, working closely with stakeholders, NIIT teams, and various specialist consultants to establish the technology landscape required to support the agreed Learning Services Delivery Model.

The consultant will not be responsible for building or implementing technical integrations directly. Instead, they will define requirements, coordinate across technical stakeholders, validate integration design, and manage testing and readiness activities across systems that support the L&D ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Landscape Definition & Coordination

Define and document the end-to-end technology landscape between Client and NIIT required to support the managed learning services model.
Identify all relevant systems, data flows, integrations, and operational platforms involved in the service delivery model.
Develop a clear technology interaction model showing how Client platforms and NIIT systems will interact to enable service delivery.

2. Techno-Functional Requirements Management

Translate operational and service delivery requirements into clear system and integration requirements.
Work with relevant technical consultants and system owners to ensure these requirements are understood, validated, and implemented correctly.
Ensure requirements cover areas such as Workday Learning administration, vendor management workflows, and operational reporting.

3. Integration Coordination (Workday, SSO, Data Flows)

Coordinate integration activities across multiple systems, including:
Workday Learning integrations and data flows
Single Sign-On (SSO) enablement
Downstream data exchanges between systems and NIIT platforms
Work closely with Workday and IT consultants who will implement the integrations, ensuring:
Requirements are clearly defined
Integration design aligns with the service model
Testing scenarios are prepared and validated.

4. Testing, Validation & Readiness

Define and coordinate functional and integration testing scenarios across systems.
Ensure integrations and technology components are validated from a service delivery and operational perspective.
Coordinate UAT and transition readiness activities with Client and NIIT stakeholders.

5. Enterprise Governance & Compliance Coordination

Support the completion of required enterprise governance processes, including:
Information Security assessments
Data Privacy reviews
AI governance assessments (if applicable)
Enterprise Assurance and risk reviews
Work with Client and NIIT stakeholders to ensure required documentation, controls, and validations are completed.

6. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

Act as a central coordination point across technical and functional stakeholders during the transition phase.
Collaborate closely with:
IT and enterprise architecture teams
Workday and integration consultants
L&D operations teams
NIIT technology, platform, and service delivery teams.
Facilitate alignment across stakeholders on technical scope, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

7. Transition Planning & Knowledge Transfer

Support the planning and execution of technology-related transition activities required to move into steady-state service delivery.
Ensure all systems, integrations, and operational processes are ready for go-live.
Coordinate documentation, handovers, and knowledge transfer to NIIT operational teams post-transition.

Required Skills & Experience

NIIT DNA: Deep understanding of NIIT’s Managed Training Services (MTS) tools and operational workflows.
Strong experience in techno-functional consulting roles supporting enterprise system transitions or service setup programs.
Ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation across multiple systems.
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Workday Learning.
Understanding of system integrations, identity management (SSO), and enterprise platform ecosystems.
Experience coordinating requirements, validation, and testing across multiple technical teams.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting Learning & Development outsourcing or managed learning services engagements.
Familiarity with Workday ecosystem and HR technology integrations.
Experience working in large enterprise environments involving governance processes such as InfoSec, Data Privacy, and risk assessments.
