Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Data L3 Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our EOSL Network project team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network decommissioning and a deep understanding of routing protocols. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of network decommissioning activities while maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the decommissioning of network infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement decommissioning plans and strategies.
Analyze existing network configurations and identify areas for improvement or decommissioning.
Document all decommissioning processes and maintain accurate records of network changes.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.
Monitor and report on the progress of decommissioning activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies related to network decommissioning.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to network management and decommissioning.

Mandatory Skills

Extensive experience with routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
Proven track record in network decommissioning projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies.
Knowledge of network security best practices.
Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on decommissioning.
Proven experience in managing complex network projects.
