Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Wintel L3 Administrator with a strong background in VMware to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in Wintel administration and virtualization technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of Windows server environments, VMware infrastructure, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Administer VMware infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of virtual machines.
Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades and patches.
Provide Level 3 support for Wintel-related incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement server solutions that meet business needs.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Wintel and virtualization.

Mandatory Skills

Proven experience in Wintel administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
Strong expertise in VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019).
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with storage solutions (SAN, NAS) and backup technologies.
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
Certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or equivalent are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Wintel administration and VMware management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
