Job Overview
A Silicon Validation Engineer role focused on post-silicon validation, ATE test development, and hardware bring-up for semiconductor ICs. The role requires developing test plans, ATE programs, and collaborating with design, DFT, and PCB teams to validate device performance and deliver production-ready test solutions in Chennai or Bangalore. This position adds value by ensuring silicon meets specifications, enabling reliable production test and strong customer engagement.

Years of Exp: 1-10 Years experience in Semicon.
Job Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Vizag.

What you'll do
Create detailed test plans and procedures from device datasheets and specifications
Design and guide hardware for test: load boards, bench boards, probe cards
Develop and validate ATE test programs on platforms like Teradyne or Advantest
Implement ATE software using C, C++, Python, VB as per test requirements
Perform device characterization across temperature, voltage, and process corners
Collaborate closely with design, DFT, and PCB teams during bring-up and debug
Lead release of production-quality final test programs for wafer and final test
Act as primary technical contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams

Who you are
Skilled in ATE platforms, semiconductor test methodologies, and hardware design
Hands on experience with ATE platforms (Teradyne / Advantest / NI / Cohu & others) is an added advantage
Technical expertise in High-speed interfaces including HSIO, DDR, USB, PCIE, & HDMI
Comfortable translating datasheets into executable test strategies and programs
Proficient in programming for test automation and instrument control
Detail-oriented with strong debugging, characterization, and validation skills
Effective communicator for cross-functional collaboration and customer updates
Able to manage end-to-end test program delivery from bring-up to production release
