Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with a strong background in Playwright, Python, and Azure. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing and development, with a proven track record of implementing automated solutions that enhance software quality and efficiency. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Implement and manage automated testing frameworks in Azure DevOps.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Continuously improve automation processes and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Document test cases, test plans, and automation processes for future reference.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing.

Mandatory Skills

Proficiency in Playwright for web automation.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Experience with Azure DevOps and cloud-based testing environments.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug automation scripts effectively.

Preferred Skills

Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in automation testing and development.
Proven experience with Playwright is a deal-breaker for this position.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
