Overview:

Lexmark, a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation, is seeking a Tools Operations Engineer to support and optimize enterprise infrastructure across data center and cloud environments. This role focuses on automation, monitoring, and patch management to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations. You will work across Linux-based systems and cloud platforms, contributing to high availability and SLA-driven performance. What You Will Do:

Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows
Automate server provisioning, configuration management, and patching processes
Manage patch lifecycle using ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus across multiple operating systems
Configure and optimize monitoring using ScienceLogic Skylar One, including alerting and event correlation
Perform proactive monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis across infrastructure systems

What You Need to Succeed:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks
Strong Linux administration experience across distributions such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS
Experience with Ansible automation including playbooks, roles, and Tower or AWX
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and virtualization technologies
