Job Purpose
As a senior leader in the operations vertical, incumbent will be responsible for managing various
operational process risks, resilience, compliance, and strategic evolution of the operational
framework. This role bridges the gap between high-level strategy and granular execution, ensuring
that third-party partnerships, internal processes, and high-impact transformation projects are robust,
compliant, and future-ready.

1. Project Lifecycle Oversight: Lead the Project Management
Office (PMO) for the Wholesale BCU. Oversee the end-toend
lifecycle of large-scale operational projects, from
conceptualization and budgeting to UAT (User Acceptance
Testing) and deployment.
2. Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the bridge between
Operations, IT, and Product teams to ensure that new
product launches or system upgrades are integrated
seamlessly into operational workflows.
3. Change Management: Manage the transition of manual
processes to automated systems, ensuring minimal
disruption to "Business as Usual" (BAU) activities.
Process Audit & oversight
1. Coordinate & review checklist for all process audits and
ensure same is updated and followed
2. Ensure standard process & practices are followed for
process audit, including sampling, rating, exception
management, documentation
3. Ensure that spot reviews are conducted and exception
reported

4. Manage risk trends and emerging risks in processes are
monitored and actioned for process improvements.
Vendor Governance &
Compliance
1. Outsource Compliance: Ensure all outsourcing
arrangements comply with RBI/regulatory guidelines.
Conduct periodic due diligence and risk assessments of
service providers.
2. SLA Management: Define, monitor, and enforce Service
Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators
(KPIs). Lead monthly performance reviews and implement
penalty/reward frameworks.
Continuity & Incident
Management
1. Business Contingency Planning (BCP): Design and maintain a
comprehensive BCP for the entire operations vertical.
Conduct regular "Stress Tests" and Mock Drills to ensure
seamless recovery of critical banking functions.
2. Incident Management: Act as the primary lead for
operational incidents. Oversee the lifecycle of an incident
from detection to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and long-term
remediation.

Regulatory Oversight
1. Legal Liaison: Collaborate with the Legal department to
manage litigation, documentation, and contracts related to
operational processes.
2. Liaison with various investigative agencies and police for
first response and guidance to branches

• CA or MBA in Finance or equivalent
Certifications:

• Deep understanding of Core Banking Systems,

to banking preferable.
