Role: Vice President– Logistics
The Vice President – Logistics will be responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations across domestic and international markets. The role will focus on driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, supply chain agility, and seamless customer service aligned with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with overall business goals.
Lead logistics transformation initiatives including digitization and automation.
Establish scalable logistics frameworks to support domestic and export growth.
Supply Chain & Distribution Management
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Ensure timely delivery of products across domestic and international markets.
Optimize distribution networks to enhance efficiency and reduce lead time.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
Drive best practices in warehouse operations, layout optimization, and material handling.
Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence.
Implement robust inventory control systems and periodic audits.
Cost Optimization & Efficiency
Identify opportunities for logistics cost reduction without compromising service quality.
Negotiate with logistics service providers, transporters, and vendors.
Monitor logistics KPIs such as freight cost, delivery timelines, and fill rates.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, import/export laws, and safety standards.
Manage risks related to transportation, storage, and distribution.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
Build strong relationships with external logistics partners and vendors.
Technology & Process Improvement
Drive adoption of ERP/WMS/TMS systems for enhanced visibility and control.
Implement data-driven decision-making and analytics in logistics operations.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics team.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
18–25 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
Proven leadership experience in handling large-scale logistics operations.
Strong exposure to domestic and international logistics (including exports).
