VP-Relationship Manager, Financial Institution Group

* Coverage of FI clients, primarily Banks (including offshore branches of
Indian Banks) & Non-Bank FI’s across India with a focus on growing FIG
business for SMBC.
* New client acquisition with the objective of building non-lending revenue
from inter-bank businesses, including JPY Nostro account relationship
management.
* Cross-sell products to build non-lending revenue, in collaboration with
product teams. Leverage existing product capabilities to maximize wallet
share with existing clients.
* Work with stakeholders to develop products to enhance interbank business.
* Establish relationships with senior client personnel to identify business
opportunities and potential collaboration.
* Identify and on-board new clients in line with acceptable credit and risk
metrics.
* Guide analysts in preparing Credit Application/Grading clients.
* Adhere to credit policies and comply with Group policies and guidelines.
* Work closely with local and regional teams to offer cross-sell propositions
to clients for relationship revenue maximization.
* Ensure and promote a disciplined approach to all internal compliance
requirements and applicable regulationsSupport other strategic initiatives
and perform other tasks as needed.
