Professional Services Automation (PSA) IT Products Team is responsible for the
ongoing optimization, support, and evolution of systems that enable project
delivery, revenue recognition, and contract-to-cash workflows across the firm.
The Workday Functional PSA Associate supports the day-to-day configuration,
maintenance, and testing of the Workday PSA platform. The role emphasizes
execution of defined PSA tasks, test support, and operational stability, with
opportunities to expand scope over time based on demonstrated capability. This
role is well-suited for an early-career Workday professional looking to deepen
PSA expertise in a stable, product optimization-focused environment rather than
a client implementation model. Requirements: Operate as a Workday HCM Developer
supporting Workday HCM, with primary responsibility for the Benefits module.
Execute day-to-day configuration, testing, and maintenance activities for
Huron’s Workday Benefits module, contributing to annual initiatives, M&A
activities, and ongoing ad-hoc work under established guidance. Support the
Benefits Product Owner in stakeholder coordination and take an active role in
configuring, testing, and deploying Huron’s annual Open Enrollment process.
Troubleshoot Workday system issues and partner with end users and internal
stakeholders to resolve incidents, with a specific focus on supporting and
coordinating Benefits Events. Partner with Workday Product leads (HCM Core, and
BEN SME’s) to translate business needs into Workday business process solutions
and provide operational support where needed during specific cycles throughout
the year. Apply Workday Reporting and Calculated Field expertise to help design,
maintain, and troubleshoot Custom Reports in Workday. S upport testing and
implementation of Workday releases. Willingness and ability to expand support to
other Workday HCM modules, including Advanced Compensation. Preferences: At
least 2-4 years of experience in the areas of Workday HCM and Benefits is
required. Demonstrated clear knowledge of global Benefits concepts and
regulations, specifically including the United States, Canada, and the United
Kingdom. Detailed experience with Workday Benefits configuration, including
direct experience owning or assisting with Workday Open Enrollment configuration
and deployment. Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the
interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and
collaboration. Being able to translate business requirements into technical
solutions, talk through options, and help eliminate roadblocks. Demonstrated
experience with Workday Reporting, including Custom Reports; and an
understanding of how to build and apply Calculated Fields in Workday. Detailed
experience with, and understanding of, Workday’s Enterprise Interface Builder
(EIB) platform and schema. Strong Excel skills. While most of the work will be
in Workday, strong Excel skills are necessary for periodic data loads into
Workday. Ability to work partial US hours and experience working in a
